NeNe Leakes Puts On A Brave Face Belting Out Sad Tune As She Fends Off Men Sliding Into Her DMs After Husband’s Death
NeNe Leakes is finding happiness following the tragic passing of her husband Gregg Leakes.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star put on a brave face singing karaoke. NeNe sang a rousing rendition of Gladys Knight & The Pips’ smash hit, “Midnight Train to Georgia”.
The 53-year-old beauty — who recently underwent a major makeover — shared several clips via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, October 7, of her belting out the tune.
She also hilariously declared several eligible bachelors have been sliding into her DMs to shoot their shot with the widow.
“Thank you to everybody,” the TV personality said, adding: “All the gentlemen that have been in my DMs, thank y’all too,” before shyly saying, “Heyyy!”
The Glee alum, who was married to Gregg for more than two decades before his sad passing last month, spilled she isn’t focusing on dating again at the moment.

“I’m just over here doing me right now, but hey!” she explained. “I love reading the messages. They are inspiring to say the least. Thank you.”
Gregg passed away at home on September 1 after a four-year battle with colon cancer. NeNe recently detailed the final days she spent with the 61-year-old.
“The last five days before his passing was really beautiful,” she said. “All of his children were there. His best friends were there. Our closest friends were there. We all sat with him around the clock.”
NeNe said her husband’s last words gave her a sense of peace. “I'm not going to leave you,” she recalled him telling her. “God is going to bless you.”
“He said he wanted me to move on with my life,” the fashion designer recalled, noting: “I told him I wouldn't have chosen another husband other than him. I said, ‘I married you twice, crazy man.’”
NeNe recently listed the $4 million Georgia mansion she shared with her late husband as she looks to start a new chapter in her life.
