Would Netflix Star Greer Grammer Want To Work With Her Famous Dad Kelsey Grammer? She Spills!

It's not always easy to make it in the entertainment industry, but it can be even more daunting when your parent starred in a super successful television show or movie.
Luckily, Greer Grammer — whose father is Frasier star Kelsey Grammer — broke out in the industry when she first appeared on iCarly in 2010. From there, her career has expanded, and she has landed roles in Awkward, The Middle and The Goldbergs.
So, would the 29-year-old ever want to appear alongside her dad on the big or small screen? "I think about acting with my dad all the time, and I am constantly trying to find projects for us to do together," she exclusively tells OK! while promoting her new movie, Deadly Illusions, which is now streaming on Netflix.
"I don’t know he feels about it, but I would gladly work with my dad," she shares. "I think that would be such a cool experience in general — to work with my dad but also work with a great actor — and my dad is a really great actor, so I think that would be really cool to work with him."
To this day, Greer hasn't "really brought up" the idea of collaborating together, though.
"There was a project that he was kind of working on himself and I was like, 'I want a part in that,' and he was like, 'OK!' And then nothing really happened with it," she says. "But I do remember he was like, 'Well, I don’t know, you’re my daughter,' and I was like, 'I want it!' I know we have discussed and talked about certain projects but nothing really firm, you know?"

Meanwhile, Kelsey, 66, is gearing up to star in the Frasier reboot, which will air on Paramount+ — and, naturally, his daughter is "very excited for him" to be back on television.
"I know he loves that character and is so excited to work with everyone again and kind of be back in that family," she explains. "I know it will be different without John [Mahoney], but I know that they all have such a love for each other, just from seeing them at Christmas parties over the years, the way that they are all together. It really is something so special, so I am excited. I am excited, as a fan and also as a daughter!"
When asked if she would ever consider making a cameo on the comedy, she exclaims, "Oh my god, probably not because that’s terrifying but yes, I would guest star in a heartbeat – are you kidding me?
"I would love that. I would absolutely love to do something on that show," she adds. "I don’t know if that will happen, I don’t know if I have the guts to ask but would love it!"
