Pamela Anderson is ready to take Broadway!
According to the New York Post, the 54-year-old will be making her Broadway debut at the Ambassador Theatre April 12. Her run as one of the merry murderesses in the Cook County Jail will go through June 5.
"From Baywatch to Broadway. I am inspired by the unexpected," Anderson declared of her new role. "This is it, and I will not hold back anymore. I am letting go. For Chicago, I’ll be putting all my cards on the table. I am doubling down — on me."
"I have always been a huge fan of Bob Fosse's & Gwen Verdon's work. Ann Reinking, too," the Barb Wire star noted in the press release. "Playing Roxie Hart is a dream fulfilled."
A bevy of other celebrities have put their personal stamp on the infamous role of Roxie Hart throughout the years, including RHOBH star Erika Jayne, Christie Brinkley, Brooke Shields and Melanie Griffith to name a few.
The exciting announcement comes as Anderson recently parted ways with husband Dan Hayhurst, whom she married in December 2020. As she embarks on the next chapter of her career, OK! learned she's also ready to start a new chapter when it comes to her love life.
“Pamela is the first to admit that she’s had terrible luck with men because she very easily gets swept up in her feelings and ignores the warning signs,” the source noted of Anderson — who has previously been married to Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon.
“Pamela loves being in love, and she’s a romantic through and through," the insider said of the actress. "Anyone who knows her knows this won’t be her last marriage!”
As Anderson — who shares sons Brandon Thomas, 25, and Dylan Jagger, 24, with the Mötley Crüe rocker, 59 — steps into the next phase of her career, an insider noted: "she hasn’t given up on finding her happily ever after" either.
