The grieving father appeared relaxed and even seemed to be laughing as he wore a red windbreaker while walking with his wife, whom he began dating a year after his ex-wife's alleged crimes.
Lindsay faces trial for three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of her and Patrick's young children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, in 2023. According to prosecutors, she strangled each of her kids before attempting to end her own life, leaving her wheelchair bound.
The mother's defense has not been that she did not kill them, but that her alleged act of violence occurred amid a bout of postpartum psychosis.
How Long Has Patrick Clancy Been Married?

Judge William Sullivan spoke to the jury about his instructions.
Testimony from various medical professionals, caretakers and even Patrick himself lasted for five weeks before the jury began deliberating on August 27.
Patrick quietly began divorce proceedings following the killings in early 2023, though at the time he wrote a statement asking that his wife be forgiven, according to People.
“My family was the best thing that ever happened to me,” he stated. “I took so much pride in being Lindsay’s husband and a dad to Cora, Dawson, and Callan.”
He moved to New York City shortly thereafter and began dating again. He married Rachel in Central Park earlier this year.

Where Does the Jury Stand Now?

Lindsay Clancy was on trial following the deaths of her three children.
Ahead of a judge declaring a mistrial on Friday, September 4, the jury had been deadlocked for several days, with 11 members in agreement and one standing out. The jury's foreperson reportedly informed Judge William Sullivan that one juror refuses to follow instructions on reasonable doubt.
William questioned each of the jurors individually on Thursday, September 3, before rereading his instructions.
After the jury told the judge twice that they could not reach a verdict, he declined to remove the holdout juror, allowing deliberations to continue. William then declared a mistrial after they once again failed to reach a decision.

Lindsay Clancy's lawyer, Kevin Reddington, accused the judge of glossing things over.
Lindsay's attorney, Kevin Reddington, told reporters on Thursday that he hoped that both sides would have the opportunity to argue the inquiries submitted by the jury as they attempt to avoid a mistrial, according to PBS.
Kevin also accused the judge of "glossing over" the issue of reasonable doubt.
"Well, my point, judge, simply is that you're kind of glossing over the issue," he stated, asking the judge to "firmly" reiterate his instructions, per NBC 10. "The issue is this juror will not, according to that note, apply the law of reasonable doubt, and that's why I've requested, you know what I've requested, so I note my objection."
