Prince William hopes to provide his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, with the most "normal" childhood he can, just as his late mother, Princess Diana, tried to give him, author Simon Vigar recently alleged.
Princess Diana Aimed to Give Prince Harry and Prince William 'Normal Lifestyles'

The late Princess Diana and King Charles split in 1992 and divorced in 1996.
"Diana was the first person to make sure her boys had some sort of normal lifestyle, and that is continuing with the Wales children," The Four Wives of Windsor writer told HELLO! magazine.
"George, Charlotte and Louis have a more normal childhood than William and [Prince] Harry did," the royal author noted.
Princess Diana Divorced King Charles in 1996

Princess Diana died in 1997 when Prince Harry and Prince William were adolescents.
The Princess of Wales — who died at age 36 in a 1997 Paris car crash — divorced King Charles in 1996, but continued to keep her focus on their children.
Diana often brought her kids to eat meals at McDonald's, as well taking them to serve at homeless shelters.
Diana was also steadfast in keeping William and Harry grounded, as she deliberately turned down gifts from royal fans — a practice the Duke of Cambridge has adopted in his own parenting.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Want Their Kids to Feel Comfortable Talking About Their Emotions

Prince William and Kate Middleton share three kids together.
William himself has dished on how he and wife Kate Middleton are raising George, 13, Charlotte, 11, and Louis, 8.
"Catherine and I are clear that we want [our children] to grow up feeling able to talk about their emotions and feelings," he previously told CALMZine.
"Sometimes, emotions have to be put to one side to get the job done, but if you have been through an especially traumatic or stressful situation it is essential to talk it through after the event," the prince noted. "If you don't acknowledge how you feel, it will only bottle up, and could reassert itself later as illness."
Said William, "It really is as simple as that – if you are feeling overwhelmed, having a conversation with someone can really help."
Prince Harry and Prince William Have Been Estranged Since 2020

Prince Harry and Prince William's rift stretches back to 2020.
Despite spending time together as kids, William and the Duke of Sussex's relationship soured in recent years, as Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2020.
The Invictus Games founder detailed in his 2023 book, Spare, he had a physical fight with his older brother following a verbal argument regarding the Suits star's alleged "rude" behavior.
