Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly resisting having any sort of reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent return to England.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved back to the U.K. for the time being on August 26 alongside their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
Prince Harry's Return Offers the 'Best Opportunity' to Reconcile With Prince William

Prince William and Kate Middleton's rift with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has yet to be mended.
A source recently told People that Harry, 41, and Meghan's comeback presents the “best opportunity” to mend their years-long rift with the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 45.
William and Kate are averting any “knee-jerk reaction” to the idea, the insider noted, also adding: “They are watching this space. It’s private — they don’t feel the need to say anything or demonstrate anything outwardly.”
Any Resolution Within the Royal Family 'Will Be a Slow Build'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the U.K. last month and will stay for an extended period of time.
Any reconciliation “will be a slow build," the source continued, as "there is a deep sense of betrayal" between the estranged brothers.
Royal expert Richard Palmer also gave his take on the subject, telling i-Paper last month the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will most probably need to coordinate with Meghan, 45, and Harry to avoid any schedule conflicts and clashes.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Will Stay Private Citizens While Living in the U.K.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be involved with any royal duties amid their stay in England.
"While visiting a charity in Los Angeles may go largely unnoticed, there will be far more media attention when [Meghan and Harry] carry out visits in the U.K., especially if one of the working Royal Family is doing something similar and possibly trying to communicate a different message, sources said," Palmer said.
While the Suits star and the Spare author are back in England, they will remain private citizens and will not be undertaking any official royal duties.
The pair famously stepped back as senior members of the Windsor family and moved to Montecito, Calif., in January 2020.
Prince William and Kate Middleton Will Try to Shrug Off Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Kate Middleton and Prince William are planning to 'ignore' the Sussexes.
Kate and William are even reportedly planning to "ignore" Meghan and Harry while they're in town, according to celebrity journalist Rob Shuter.
The TV personality told NewsNation on September 6 how it "might bother" William and Kate when "they read all the coverage in the newspapers and the TV coverage" surrounding the Sussexes. "I’m sure it gets on their nerves. But they have a steel backbone. They will keep doing the work," Shuter stated about the Wales.
Kate and William are allegedly keeping their eye on their long term goals, as they "have a 5-year, a 10-year plan."
"That’s where William and Catherine are at the moment. They’re thinking about what will happen when William is king," Shuter added.
