Forever Love!
An insider says Reba McEntire is dead set on tying the knot with actor boyfriend Rex Linn by the end of the year — even if it’s just the two of them.
In October 2020, McEntire announced that she and Linn were dating during an episode of her "Living & Learning" podcast. At the time, the Nashville-based singer revealed that she and the actor — who resides in Sherman Oaks, Calif. — had been keeping in touch virtually throughout the pandemic.
"It's good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what's going on," McEntire gushed. "Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he's very into my music. I'm very into his career."
As OK! previously reported, the lovebirds started looking for a home in Malibu overlooking the ocean to shack up in together as things between the two heated up. "Finding a beachfront property was actually on her to-do list before she and Rex started dating," a source said at the time. "Now that they're serious, she sees it as a perfect excuse to move in together and enjoy this blooming relationship in total comfort."

It seemed as though the country superstar had found her happily ever after with Linn. McEntire, who split from her husband of 26 years, manager Narvel Blackstock, in 2015, “was devastated by the divorce, but she never gave up on marriage,” the insider explains.
Meanwhile, the songstress is set to wrap up her Las Vegas residency in mid December before going on tour in January, “but there’s a nice gap in between, which would be the perfect time to get married,” the insider dishes.
“Reba is an old-fashioned girl, and she knows the pandemic could mean she can’t have the big wedding of her dreams," adds the source. "But she’s ready to elope with Rex if need be — and he’s content to do whatever it takes to keep Reba happy.”
