Last January, Rebel Wilson declared 2020 her "year of health" — and boy, did she mean it.
The Aussie actress proved that her hard work has been paying off as she was spotted looking noticeably slimmed down while leaving her London hotel on Wednesday, March 24.
The newly single 40-year-old donned a tight pair of black leather-like leggings — which totally flattered her new figure — teamed with an olive green sweater and flat loafers.
Wilson hasn't been shy about documenting her incredible fitness journey. She was inspired to get healthier when she starred in the 2019 film Cats and as she looked forward to her career's future.
"I literally feel as if I have to physically transform because it's very difficult for people to imagine [me in serious roles] for some reason – even though we're in a very imaginative industry," she told The Mirror. "I feel that I physically have to show you that I am different and I am transformed in order to help transform my career."
As OK! previously reported, with the help of trainer Jono Castano Acero, the 40-year-old Pitch Perfect star began working out five times a week for 45 minutes and overhauled her diet.
"Before, I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days," said Wilson, "and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry." Now, as she gets closer to her goal weight of 165 pounds, she sticks to mostly protein (like salmon and chicken breast).
"I don't think I'll ever go too skinny," she recently shared, "but I feel so much healthier."

Wilson hit the streets of London this week wearing a military green, square-neck rib-knit sweater with long puff sleeves from Alexander McQueen. She paired the designer top, which retails for $980, with black faux leather leggings.

Airing on the safe side during the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, Wilson wore a black face mask.
The Bridesmaids star, who split from her Anheuser-Busch brewing company heir boyfriend Jacob Busch earlier this year, was joined on her London stroll by a handsome mystery man.
Wilson currently hosts Pooch Perfect, a dog grooming reality competition television program, premiering Tuesday, March 30, on ABC.
