Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to Instagram to tout the 'smoking hot' bartender serving him at a Florida bar — his wife, Cheryl Hines.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to Instagram to tout the “smoking hot” server making him a drink at a Florida establishment — though it turned out the bartender was just his wife, Cheryl Hines.
The controversial Health and Human Services Secretary ordered a beverage from Hines, who was behind the bar in his Saturday, August 22, upload.
"Getting carded by a smoking hot bartender at Gypsy's in DeBary, Fla. 'I only want a club soda!'" the HHS Sec. wrote.
The couple was there to celebrate the grand opening because his wife is a close family friend of the owner, Lisa Hastedt.

Kennedy and Hines hung out for over an hour, taking photos with guests. Because of her personal connection to the owner, Hines even stepped behind the counter to act as a guest bartender.
Hines, a Florida native, has strong personal ties to the immediate area; her sister lives in DeBary, which is 25 miles north of Orlando, and previously worked as a professor at the nearby University of Central Florida.
Instagram users had a field day with the post, with one saying, “Meanwhile all the liquor in there still has glyphosate in it,” in a nod to Kennedy’s shifting positions on the active ingredient in Roundup weedkiller, in which he maintains that the chemical is a toxic carcinogen while simultaneously defending a 2026 executive order to boost its domestic production.

Social media users were quick to note how many foodborne illness outbreaks there have been under RKF Jr.'s leadership.
“The rest of the country is suffering from food poisoning and viral outbreaks, but HEY AT LEAST HE'S ENJOYING HIMSELF,” noted another.
The United States has experienced historic surges in foodborne illness outbreaks during the summer of 2026. This presents a massive public health challenge for RFK Jr., especially given his core "Make America Healthy Again" (MAHA) campaign, which urges Americans to eat fresh, "real food.”
“Because club soda is the only thing that hasn’t been recalled,” quipped another commenter of the unprecedented wave of recalls driven by widespread contamination from Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli and Cyclospora.

Cheryl Hines Was Dropped by Some Hollywood Pals
Cheryl Hines' husband's views have caused rifts between herself and longtime friends.
Other critics said Hines shouldn’t quit that bartending job because her association with MAGA politics and her husband’s controversial platform have caused a significant rift between herself and her longtime Hollywood peers.
Hines was noticeably snubbed and left out of Larry David’s July 2026 HBO comedy series, Life, Larry & The Pursuit of Unhappiness (An Almost History of America), produced with Barack and Michelle Obama.
The couple married in 2014.
Hines later confirmed she has completely lost touch with David, downplaying their previous connection.
Adding to the awkwardness, David’s new show premiered a sketch featuring a parody of her husband named "Bobby," who is told to "drop dead" over his anti-vaccine rhetoric.
