"My first solo drive was a super special one — took my dad’s old Ute to see Grace in the hospital right after she was born," the 17-year-old gushed on Tuesday, March 30, posing next to the truck with a "P plate," which is what provisional drivers in Australia must display on their vehicles.

Robert shared that he was first learning how to drive his father’s car in 2019. "Once you've mastered that, I think you can drive anything," mom Terri Irwin said at the time, noting that the truck — which is more than 30-years-old — is a "beast."

The "Ute," which is short for utility vehicle, was even part of a memorial service for Steve after he passed away in 2006. John Williamson performed on top of the truck at a service in the Australia Zoo.

Last week, Bindi welcomed her first child with her husband, Chandler Powell. Their little girl, who they named Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, was born on March 25, which happened to be the couple's first wedding anniversary. "Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior," Bindi explained.

"Let the uncle adventures begin! Love you so much, Grace ❤️," Robert gushed last week with a photo of him holding his niece. "This little one picked the two best parents in the entire world. The most incredible, caring and strong Mum... and the funnest, coolest and kindest Dad. Love you three so much — I can’t wait for this exciting journey ahead!"
