Natalie Harp’s sudden turn in the spotlight has become a test of loyalty for Trumpworld’s loudest media defenders.

Scott Jennings and Greg Kelly both used their platforms to unload on critics of Harp, the 35-year-old executive assistant who is frequently at President Donald Trump’s side and was name-checked by Sen. Jon Ossoff during a reelection rally in Atlanta.

Ossoff said Trump would rather “build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.”

Scott Jennings accused Jon Ossoff of attacking Natalie Harp’s credibility and professional standing.

Jennings, the conservative CNN commentator and reported frontrunner to replace Karoline Leavitt as White House press secretary, called Ossoff a “garbage human” on The Scott Jennings Show.

He said the remark about Harp was “vile” and accused Ossoff of suggesting that a female aide could not earn a powerful role on merit.

“He thinks the way to cement his path to the Oval Office is to slander a talented young woman as nothing more than a pretty young companion for the president,” Jennings said.

After Ossoff told Jen Psaki on MS NOW that he had heard Harp referred to as Trump’s “security blanket,” Jennings called that appearance “damage control” and labeled the senator an “absolute weak coward.”

“The implication is that a professional woman couldn’t possibly have earned her position of trust in the White House without sleeping her way to the top,” Jennings claimed.

Greg Kelly defended Natalie Harp while revisiting her account of Donald Trump’s Right to Try Act.

On Newsmax, Kelly focused on renewed scrutiny of Harp’s long-running claim that Trump’s Right to Try Act helped save her life during cancer treatment.

Harp said at the 2020 Republican National Convention, “They didn’t give me the right to try experimental treatments, Mr. President; you did, and without you, I’d have died waiting for them to be approved.”

That account has faced questions because Harp has also described receiving “an FDA-approved immunotherapy drug for an unapproved use,” while Trump’s law applied to drugs not yet approved by the FDA.

Greg Kelly praised Natalie Harp after discussing her claims about receiving experimental cancer treatment.

“I thought she was phenomenal,” Kelly said after airing Harp’s RNC remarks.

“And this whole thing about authorizing the experimental drugs for people who have no other option saved her life,” Kelly insisted. “Democrats are like, ‘oh that has not yet been established.’ You sons of—”

Natalie Harp’s close relationship with Donald Trump continued to draw scrutiny.

Harp’s role has attracted more attention since CNN reported that she once got into a “screaming match” after not being assigned a seat in Trump’s vehicle, then jumped into the trunk of an SUV to stay near him.

Kelly called Harp “a very, very special person,” while Jennings said she is a “smart, talented person who wants to serve her country and the president.”
