Shailene Woodley 'Hasn't Shut The Door' On Rekindling Relationship With NFL Star Aaron Rodgers Following Split
Not ready to say it's over?
Shailene Woodley may not be prepared to shut the door for good on her relationship with NFL pro Aaron Rodgers following rumors that they ended their relationship.
The pair reportedly called it quits one year after they got engaged in an "amicable" split.
"While Shailene is supportive of Aaron’s career, he put football first and they were barely spending any time together," a source dished to InTouch earlier this month. "She felt he neglected their relationship. Neither of them was happy."
But the pair quickly sparked rumors of reconciliation when they were spotted out and about together at Erewhon Market in Los Angeles on Tuesday, February 22.
Now, a source told UsWeekly that while the high profile couple were "definitely over" at the time, the duo are "talking things through and trying to keep things private" as they navigate their next steps.
"Now that Aaron is in [the] off season, he has more downtime and can focus more on a relationship," the source continued of the rocky romance. "Shailene is understanding and open — she hasn’t shut the door completely or [she] would’ve never agreed to meet up with him."

SHAILENE WOODLEY & AARON RODGERS 'AGREE TO DISAGREE' ON POLITICS FOR THE GOOD OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP
“No one, including them, knows what the future holds — they can possibly get back together or they can decide they aren’t meant to be,” the source says. “That’s up to them to figure out.”
As OK! previously reported, Rodgers recently fueled rumors that the split was connected to his and Woodley's differing political views during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, February 22.
"One thing that I am sad about and definitely apologetic is I didn't realize in the midst of the COVID conversations how much of my situation was affecting my loved ones and my people," he told the host, likely referring to his past of misrepresenting that he received the COVID vaccine and breaking NFL pandemic safety protocols.
"The people that support me and love me and check on me and take care of me," he went on, before adding a direct message to the Divergent star. "I am very sorry to those people, Shai and my loved ones."
