Sunny Hostin honored her son, Gabriel Hostin, on his special day amid his trespassing drama.
"Happy 24th birthday to my beautiful boy, Gabriel. ❤️You are the boy who made me a mother," she gushed in a Sunday, August 16, Instagram upload. "Before you, I knew love. But when you came into this world, you taught me a kind of love I didn’t know existed — fierce, unconditional, overwhelming, and without end."

Sunny Hostin posted throwback photos of her son on his 24th birthday.
Sunny, 57, said being his mother is the title she will always "treasure most" and went on to note her "privilege of watching you become the man you were always meant to be."
"Gabriel, I am so proud of the young man you are — your brilliant mind, your enormous heart, your curiosity, your compassion, your courage, and the way you move through this world with purpose," she continued. "But more than anything you have accomplished, I am proud of who you are when no one is watching."
'My Greatest Teacher'

The mom-of-two gushed over her son's 'brilliant mind' and 'enormous heart.'
The View star wrapped up her message by noting his birth "changed" her "forever."
"My firstborn. My heart. My greatest teacher. The boy who made me Mommy. Happy 24th birthday, Gabriel," she said. "I love you beyond words, beyond measure, and forever. ❤️."
Sunny included multiple photos of Gabriel, including current day shots and throwbacks to his childhood.

Authorities issued Gabriel Hostin a citation for trespassing in June.
As OK! reported, Sunny — who shares Gabriel and daughter Paloma with husband Emmanuel Hostin — was called by her son on June 16 when authorities confronted him over trespassing claims as he was running near train tracks in New York's Westchester County.
Sunny allegedly name-dropped her gig on The View when talking to the cops as her son insisted the mishap was a misunderstanding.
'An Honest Mistake'

Sunny Hostin mentioned her son's academic achievements when she begged the judge to dismiss the case.
Sunny, a lawyer who is representing her son, pleaded for a judge to dismiss the charge in a letter.
"My client is a 2025 Harvard University graduate with no criminal history or prior contact with the criminal justice system," she wrote, calling the incident an "honest mistake."
"The only 'No Trespassing' sign was affixed to the left gate and because the gates are open, it was not visible to my client as he entered the property," continued the mom-of-two. "He reasonably believed that the area was accessible and had no intention of entering private property unlawfully."

Sunny Hostin was accused by critics of name-dropping her job on 'The View' to try and get her son out of trouble.
Gabriel was scheduled to appear in court earlier this month, but the hearing was delayed until October.
The View went on its annual summer hiatus in late July and will return in September — but prior to the break, Sunny made no mention of the scandal on the talk show.
