Though Tallulah Willis, 28, and fiancé Dillon Buss, 33, had no plans to rush down the aisle when they became engaged last May, a source told Star magazine that the couple's plans have changed in the wake of her dad Bruce Willis' aphasia diagnosis.
"It was either put off the wedding or move it up," shared the source. "They decided the most important thing was that Bruce be there and be well enough to walk her down the aisle."
It was less than one month ago that the 69-year-old actor's family revealed his health woes via a joint social media post, which also acted as a retirement announcement.
"To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities," the message read. "As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him. This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support."
Though the source didn't divulge any details about a potential wedding date, they did note that the Die Hard star is doing whatever he can to stay in shape.
"Bruce is eating healthy and exercising," said the insider. "He wants to enjoy as much time with his family as he can before his condition gets worse."

Aside from Tallulah, Willis shares daughters Rumer, 33 and Scout, 30, with ex-wife Demi Moore, as well as daughters Mabel, 9, and Evelyn, 7, with current wife Emma Heming, 43.
Moore and her ex have maintained a great coparenting relationship over the years, which is why she "was one of the first people Bruce told about his condition," another source shared. "Right from the get-go, Demi dropped everything to help. She’s been his rock."
Luckily, the mother-of-three, 59, also gets along great with Heming.
"Demi has always had a great rapport with all of them. And Emma couldn’t be more grateful for the way she’s stuck by Bruce’s side," the insider insisted. "Demi and Emma have shared discreet conversations over the years about how to protect Bruce and keep his spirits up."
