Kailyn Lowry made some shocking claims about the production of Teen Mom 2 during a recent court deposition.
The Pride Over Pity author, 30, filed a lawsuit back in June against costar Briana DeJesus, 27, for defamation after she alleged Lowry physically assaulted the father of her children, Chris Lopez.
According to court documents obtained by The Sun, during a February 17 deposition, the podcast host was asked by DeJesus' attorney if the MTV hit “actually depicts reality," to which she responded “Sometimes.”
“So would that imply that sometimes it doesn’t?” the lawyer further pressed Lowry, as she reportedly responded, "Yes." The attorney asked a follow up question wondering, “Have you ever seen the show where you were depicted in a way that you would say was not reality?”
The New York Times bestselling author once again answered, "Yes." When further pressed about specifics, Lowry revealed she lied on the show about originally being from the town of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, although she admitted she was "not sure" why, per the publication.

According to the outlet, the legal mind asked Lowry if "Producers ever suggest courses of action or things to say to you?” before the mother-of-four confirmed the showrunners do in fact feed her things to say on camera.
“Yes… Before every shoot we have essentially a schedule of what we are going to film. So if I am taking my kids to the dentist, they might ask me to discuss going to the dentist in the car on the way to the appointment," Lowry divulged, according to legal documents.
As OK! previously reported, legal papers recently disclosed that Lowry accused ex Lopez of attempting to kill her in October 2019, prompting the MTV star to get an order of protection against her former partner.
"A lot of what comes out of Chris’ mouth is untrue," Lowry reportedly told DeJesus' lawyer during a deposition when asked why the order was in place. "I think that Chris has narcissistic tendencies and narcissistic behaviors."
The Love is Bubblegum author and Lopez — who share sons Lux Russell Lowry, 4, and Creed Romello Lopez,1 — have had nothing short of a turbulent relationship, with many of their spats playing out on television in front of the Teen Mom 2 audience.
