Is Tristan Thompson still shooting his shot? The baller left a flirty comment on Khloé Kardashian’s Instagram post on Wednesday, July 7, despite the pair’s recent split.
Khloé’s post featured the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 37, posing in a sheer blue long-sleeve dress while on the beach.
“Day dreaming of being here 💙,” she captioned the photo.
Despite having split from the reality star in June, Thompson left a more-than-cordial note on Kardashian’s 'gram with three heart-eye emojis in the comment section.
The Boston Celtics player’s flirty comment was a gutsy move, considering the on-again, off-again couple’s history. It was confirmed in June that the couple had called it quits after yet another alleged cheating scandal.
The couple reportedly split after model Sydney Chase claimed that she slept with Thompson last fall, which he denied. Thompson was also alleged to be seen disappearing into a bedroom with multiple women in Los Angeles in June.

While the exes are reportedly no longer together, a source spilled that Thompson is “still trying to get Khloé back. He hasn’t given up and he doesn’t think the door is closed,” the source told PEOPLE.
Together, the former couple share a three-year-old daughter, True, whom they have been committed to co-parenting throughout their bumpy relationship journey.
According to another source, Kardashian is trying to focus on the positive for the sake of her family.
“Khloé is doing okay. True will always be her first priority and ultimately she’s focused on a healthy family for her daughter, so Tristan will always be a part of Khloé’s life,” the second source told PEOPLE.
“She’s not one to dwell on the past — she has an incredible capacity to find the positive in every situation. And she and Tristan are very much in touch and are great co-parents to True.”
Kardashian and Thompson have a long history since getting together in September 2016. The cheating scandals went public just days before Kardashian gave birth to her daughter in 2018.
The pair continued to stick together despite Thompson’s behavior, until more reports surfaced in 2019, alleging that the athlete had once again cheated, this time with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.
The couple seemed to patch things up as they quarantined together in L.A. in 2020, although that wouldn’t be the end of the cheating rumors.
