Urban Meyers' Wife Leaves Twitter After Football Coach Caught Dancing With Blonde In Scandalous Video: 'We All Make Mistakes'
Urban Meyer's wife has spoken out since the scandalous video of her football coach hubby grinding on a blonde at a bar surfaced on Sunday.
Shelley Meyer took to Twitter to address the embarrassing clip, but shocked fans when instead of condemning his actions, she appeared to defend the Jacksonville Jaguars coach.
In a lengthy social media post, she claimed she would be leaving Twitter because of all the "hate" and "slander" before going on to seemingly write off her NFL legend husband's actions.
"This will be my last post on Twitter. Frankly, I don't need the hate, vitriol, slander, trash that will @ me (this has never stopped anyway)." Shelley wrote. "We all makes mistake-we are all sinners. If you think you aren't? Then cast the first stone."
"To my wonderful followers/friends: THANK YOU. For your love, support, friendship, laughs - I will miss this most," she went on, making sure to voice her appreciation for the non-haters. "I love you ALL and wish God's blessings on you. Thank you."

She hash-tagged the tweet "#FaithFamilyFootballFlamingos" then added, "PS I will be deleting right as I post this so I will not see responses. Much love."
As of now, the tweet is still visible and her account does not appear to be deactivated.
Urban, on the other hand, has apologized for the "distraction" he caused with the video he called "stupid." The football coach mentioned that he had "several conversations" with the team's owner Shad Khan about the incident and while he got the message "loud and clear", he has not considered resigning.
"A job of a coach is ... No. 1, health and safety of a player. No. 2 is motivate them or bring out the greatness in them. And No. 3 is give them everything possible to be successful and give them a great locker room and then get the heck out of the way," Urban said in a statement to local media.
"And I apologize for a distraction with a huge week coming up, especially after they made so much improvement from Week 1 to Week 4," he continued, going on to refer to his relationship with his wife. "I don't want to get into our personal life, but 37 years we've been together and it's been awesome, man. And this speed bump's not going to get in the way of that."
