As Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's relationship has been put under the microscope ever since his infamous Oscars slap, online sleuths resurfaced an uncomfortable video of the two that has now gone viral.
In the 49-second clip, which the Red Table Talk host originally filmed in 2019 during an Instagram Live, Smith, 53, sternly warns his wife, 50, not to "use" him for clout by including him in her video.
The controversial video sparked speculation as to the state of the famous pair's relationship at the time, with Reddit users pointing out the actor looks “uncomfortable” and “anxious” as he speaks with his wife, per New York Post.

While promoting her chat show at the time, the 53-year-old told her Instagram followers: “You know [therapist] Esther Perel is coming to the table — she’s gonna be at the ‘Red Table,'" before flashing the camera on her hubby and asking: “Would you say she has been instrumental in you and I redefining our relationship?”
Looking clearly irritated by Pinkett Smith's question, Smith replies: "I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me." Despite the Men in Black star's clear upset, the actress brushes off his request, joking with her fans that she's "still dealing with foolishness."
The A-lister continues to her Oscar Award winning husband: "Would you say that she [Perel] helped us heal the hurts that we caused between one another?"

The Bad Boys actor clearly had enough of Pinkett Smith's questions, as he snaps back: "My social media presence is my bread and butter. So you can’t just use me for social media. Don’t just start rolling; I’m standing in my house. Don’t start rolling."
The now-viral video comes on the heels of Smith's public outburst after he stormed the award show stage last month and slapped Chris Rock after he mocked Pinkett Smith's shaved head, which is a result of her alopecia diagnosis.
"Keep my wife’s name out your f**king mouth," Smith seethed to the comedian as he returned to his seat beside Pinkett Smith, who was visibly annoyed by Rock's G.I. Jane 2 joke.
Smith and Pinkett Smith's relationship has been in the spotlight for quite some time, especially after the Bad Moms actress admitted in July 2020 to having a clandestine relationship with R&B singer August Alsina, with her calling their relationship an "entanglement." One year later, the Smiths confirmed they're in an open marriage
