Ariel Winter Makes It Instagram Official With New Boyfriend Luke Benward

Ariel Winter just made things Instagram official with new boyfriend Luke Benward. The Modern Family star reposted a pal's Instagram Story of her and Luke riding on the back of a golf cart on Friday, January 17. The pair had their arms wrapped around each other and looked totally in love in the video.

Ariel, 21, and Luke, 24, were first linked in December 2019 when they were photographed being affectionate while grabbing dinner with friends. The romance came just two months after Ariel called it quits with boyfriend of three years Levi Meaden in October. The Canadian star was snapped removing his belongings from the home he shared with Ariel the same day she stepped out with Luke.

Ariel and Luke have yet to speak publicly about their relationship, but they haven't made an effort to hide it either. They poured on the PDA during a dinner date at Delilah's in West Hollywood on December 11. After Ariel posted a makeup-free selfie to Instagram on January 4, Luke gushed over her in the comments section of the post. "Told ya, you wayyyyyy cuter," he wrote.

"Ariel is really happy with Luke and thinks he is a great match for her. She loves his energy and charisma and feels very comfortable around him. Ariel is trying to keep her relationship with Luke somewhat private and isn’t telling a ton of people that they’re dating, but they are," a source told Us Weekly at the beginning of January.

Ariel's split from Levi came as a surprise to fans, as she frequently gushed about how great their relationship was in interviews. In July 2019, Ariel credited Levi for loving her unconditionally throughout the years.

"He’s a wonderful person. He’s always there for me … all the time. He’s always trying to make me feel good about myself, but also just to be there for me as a person, you know? Just as me, as Ariel — and that’s hard to find, people who just take you for you. The good, the bad, the ugly — everything," she told Us Weekly at the time.
