Bobbi Kristina Brown’s body has been released back to her family members after the Fulton County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the 22-year-old after her passing on Sunday.
A statement on the medical examiner’s website said that the body was returned to the family’s “designated funeral home at about noon" on Tuesday.
The medical examiner performed a preliminary autopsy on Bobbi Kristina, which revealed "no significant injuries."
However, more lab tests are going to be performed, with the results possibly taking weeks to be released.

In an earlier statement, the medical examiner’s office said that since she had fallen ill several months ago, it would be hard for them to figure out exactly what led to her hospitalization in January and eventual death. “Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging,” officials said. “However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death.”
The investigation into the incident that left Bobbi Kristina unresponsive in a bathtub in her home is still ongoing.
Recent reports also revealed that prosecutors are now looking to charge her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, with manslaughter after learning he attempted to purchase drugs for his late girlfriend on the day she was found unconscious in her tub.
