New Mom Carrie Underwood Reveals Her Post-Baby Body & Her Scary Past With Diet Pills
It wasn’t all kale and almond butter as new mom Carrie Underwood revealed more than just her smokin’ post-baby body in a recent all-access interview.
In a candid sit-down with People Magazine Carrie accredits her hot new bod to her strict vegan diet and daily workouts.
The 32-year-old, who hasn’t eaten meat in over 20 years, even admitted that her body has transformed for the better since having her 7-month-old son Isaiah Michael.
“For some reason, I feel leaner after having Isaiah,” Carrie said. “It’s really strange the way my body has reacted to exercise after having him. I feel like my bum’s a little nicer than it used to be.”

“After winning American Idol I knew that I weighed more than I had ever weighed before,” she revealed to People. “But then as soon as you start making little tweaks, people immediately go, ‘You look so great!’ Then you start wondering, ‘How bad did I look before?’ Then it’s like, ‘Well, I guess I should keep on going.’ Then you start eating less," Carrie shared.
The stars weight struggles didn’t end there, as the “Something in the water” singer also admitted that she turned to diet pills to help lose weight.
“I was taking things with Ephedra in it,” Carrie revealed. “It wasn’t the best way. If I could go back and talk to myself I’d be like, ‘Here’s how you do it the right way.” I wasn’t eating enough calories, but it wasn’t because I was trying to starve myself. I just didn’t know how many calories I should be eating," she revealed.
Now-a-days Carrie is 100% focused on her health and even confessed that she weighs more today than she did at her smallest, all thanks to her muscle tone.
