OMG, huge update! Jimmy Fallon unveiled the first photo of his new baby on Monday night on The Tonight Show (after a short 3-day paternity leave break!), and Frances Cole Fallon is adorable!
“That’s just a cute little baby, right?” he said on the show. “I just want to say it’s just a big deal for us and I just want to thank everyone, the nurses and the doctors and our surrogate, who had our baby. There are angels in Dallas, Texas.”
And it’s a girl for the Tonight Show host, 40, and Nancy!
“Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 3, weighing 5 lbs., 11 oz. and is 18.5 inches long,” the couple said in a statement. “Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, 16 months. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate.”
The same day, Fallon tweeted to his many fans: “Franny sends her thanks.” Aww!
Jimmy and Nancy became parents for the first time in July 2013, just a few months after it was announced he would take over hosting duties for the NBC late night show from Jay Leno.
“This has been the craziest year of my life,” Fallon told People earlier this year. “But being a father is the most exciting, amazing thing that ever happened to me. And everything’s going well on the show. My life has never been this cool.”
But really, what a year it’s been for Jimmy! The show has the best ratings and most viewers than ever before, he penned a children’s book, turned 40 years old and now landed the cover of EW and the 2014 Entertainer of the Year title!
"This is definitely the most exciting year of my life," he said. "The baby and the show are both starting and growing. It's interesting to raise both of them."
