Although Corey and Miranda Simms welcomed their daughter over a week ago, the Teen Mom 2 stars have yet to bring their baby girl home. After being born two months premature, Remington Monroe is still in the intensive care unit.

Corey’s father Jeff confirmed the news via Twitter. “She is in NICU,” he responded to a user.

Jeff even posted a new photo (!) of the little lady. He captioned the aww-dorable snap, “First time holding this little angel! #Remi.”

His wife, Joetta, also expressed her happiness over being able to hold her granddaughter. “I finally got to hold my precious granddaughter,” she wrote. “She is so precious. Love her bunches.”

The newborn is the first child for Corey, 26, and Miranda, 23. Corey has two daughters, Ali and Aleeah, 5, with ex-wife Leah Messer. In October, the couple was awarded full custody of the twins, with Leah only receiving visits on the weekends.
