The Duggar family was interrupted from courting and bible readings when a gas line ruptured on their property after construction crews hit the line while digging, causing a terrifying explosion!
19 Kids and Counting’s Jedidiah Duggar saw the explosion happen while driving home. “When I first pulled up, I saw this dirt all over cars and rocks were flying everywhere,” he told reporters. “It busted out a lot of windshields.”
The reality star’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were home when the incident happened. “Whenever it first happened, my dad was looking, like ‘what are all these people doing in our yard?'” Jedidiah said. “And we finally figured out they were evacuating.”

Luckily for the residents of Tontitown, Arkansas, no one was injured and temporary repairs were made to prevent gas from escaping.
This type of commotion wasn’t what the Duggar family was expecting this week! Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughter Jill Duggar is set to give birth to her first child, a boy, with husband Derick Dillard any minute now.
