Jenelle Evans has been in a longstanding custody battle with her mom Barbara over her son Jace – and the feud heated up on this week’s Teen Mom 2! Click through to find out the outcome of Jenelle’s fight for her son.
Jenelle went into mediation demanding to have Jace on weekdays, while Barbara has him on weekends. But that didn’t sit well with Babs! “We didn’t agree on anything so now we have to go to court,” Jenelle complained to her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith. “She said that he’s comfortable where he is right now and he should stay there.”
Not only did Babs cry over the possibility of losing custody of her grandson, but also of having to be in a nasty custody battle with her daughter. “I have to go to court against my own daughter,” she cried to her friend. “I have a feeling the outcome is going to be bad. You can’t rip a child from the only home he’s ever known!”
When Jenelle and Barbara met for dinner, tensions only grew. “He’s been staying with me every weekend for two years now,” Jenelle fired. “I should have Jace full time. I’m the parent! You are just a grandma.”

When Babs explained that the decision should be in Jace’s best interest, Jenelle shot back, “No sh*t. You want to do what’s in the best interest of Barbara so Barabra can control Jenelle.”
That’s when Barbara blamed Jenelle’s ex Nathan for her decision to not sign custody of Jace over to her. “If Nathan’s in the house it’s a huge part. Jace was too upset going there, there was too much fighting,” she said of Jenelle’s arguments with her ex. "Get your life together then we’ll figure out what to do with Jace.”
