'Jersey Shore' Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Posts About 'Toxic' Relationships & 'Ignoring The Bad In Someone' Following Split From Jen Harley

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro took to Instagram to post about "toxic" relationships exactly one month after his split from baby mama Jen Harley. The reality star is facing jail time stemming from his domestic violence arrest in the morning hours of October 4.

Ronnie is facing up to six years in jail for the charges brought against him in his domestic violence case. He was charged with willfully inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, willful and unlawful criminal threats, child endangerment, brandishing a weapon, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com. His court date is scheduled for early November.

Since his brush with the law and his breakup, Ronnie has been focusing all his energy on parenting his and Jen's daughter Ariana Skye, 17 months. "They are broken up for good. Ronnie’s priority is his daughter, so he’ll do whatever he has to do to make sure she’s safe. He’s really aware of what the situation is with Jen. He’s now recognizing that the relationship is probably not healthy for him, Ariana or Jen," a source told Us Weekly.

Jen has had her own share of legal troubles. After she and Ronnie got into a violent fight on New Year's Eve, Ronnie filed a police report on Jen and she was arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas on May 16. The charges against her were eventually dropped when Ronnie allegedly refused to cooperate with the prosecution on the case.

Ronnie went to rehab for depression and alcohol abuse in January 2019 and completed a month stay before checking out in February.

The single dad has been keeping busy by filming his hit show with his costars. He recently attended Deena Cortese's son CJ's baptism, which was filmed for Jersey Shore.
