Jessica Biel took to Instagram to wish husband Justin Timberlake a happy 39th birthday on Friday, January 31. The actress gushed over her spouse in the sweet message, which comes just two months after his PDA scandal with costar Alisha Wainwright.
"Happy birthday to the most timeless man I know. You somehow grow up without growing old. We love you so much," she captioned a series of photos of the pair.
Jessica and Justin's marriage was rocked after he was photographed getting a little too cozy with Palmer costar Alisha at bar in New Orleans on November 21. The duo were caught holding hands under a table, and Justin wasn't wearing his wedding ring on the outing. After the pics went viral, they both insisted they were "just friends" and nothing romantic was going on between them.
The Grammy winner waited for the dust to settle before he issued a public apology to his wife on Instagram on December 4. He admitted to a "strong lapse in judgement" but denied cheating on Jessica in a lengthy statement.
"I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love. A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that," he wrote at the time.
Jessica chose to stick by her husband, and they have reportedly been in counseling to work through the scandal.
"Sometimes they’ll have a great day together, and other days they argue," a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 22, noting that the couple are in therapy. "Justin knows exactly what Jessica wants to hear to relieve any stress. They believe it’s constructive for their relationship … he is trying his hardest to prove himself," the source added.
