Anna Duggar Calls Husband Josh Her ‘Sweet Valentine’ Nearly 4 Years After Cheating Scandal

It’s been nearly four years since Josh Duggar was caught on the cheating website Ashley Madison, but it looks like his wife Anna has long forgiven him. The mom-of-five took to Instagram to praise her husband this Valentine’s Day, despite the heartbreak he caused years ago.

Anna, 30, posted a letter her daughter Mackynzie wrote to her younger sister Meredith to read at the family’s Valentine’s Day party earlier this week.

In the caption, Anna revealed she got to write a letter to Jana, while her husband Josh, 30, whom she called her “sweet Valentine,” wrote one to his father Jim Bob.

Nearly four years ago, it was unclear if Anna would ever call Josh her Valentine again. In August 2015, Josh, who was 27 at the time, was caught with two active accounts on the site Ashley Madison.

The scandal came just months after a police report leaked in May 2015, reporting that Josh, as a teenager, had molested five underage girls, including some of his own sisters.

Josh’s back-to-back scandals resulted in the family’s hit reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting being cancelled. Despite the scandal, Anna stayed with Josh, and the two welcomed their fifth child in September 2017.

When they announced the pregnancy in March 2017, they said in a statement, “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family...As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year.”
