Happy Birthday, Kendra Duggar! See How Much Her Life Has Changed In A Year

Kendra (Caldwell) Duggar has had quite a year! In honor of the Counting On star’s birthday — she turned 20 on August 11 — take a look at how much her life has changed in just 12 months!

Just a few weeks after her 19^th birthday last year, Kendra said “I do” to husband Joseph Duggar at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas — just four months after Joseph proposed at his own sister Joy-Anna Duggar’s wedding.

Following their wedding, Kendra and Joseph jetted off to Athens, Greece, for their honeymoon.

In December, Joseph and Kendra announced they were expecting their first child together. “I’ve always dreamed of having my own family and it’s really just kind of surreal that it’s actually here,” Joseph said in a video posted to their family website. “I kind of think it’s going to be a boy, but either way, I’m happy just to have a baby.”

In February of this year, the couple revealed their baby’s gender by releasing colored smoke into their air. The smoke turned blue, revealing they were having a boy! “We’re having a son! I’m especially excited to develop a mother son relationship with my little man,” Kendra captioned the announcement on Instagram.

Then in June of this year, Joseph and Kendra welcomed their baby boy, Garrett David Duggar. “No matter how many times we’ve experienced the joy of babies born in our families, there’s nothing comparable to the joy in our hearts today! Children truly are a gift from God. We are so thankful for his safe arrival and this new journey as parents,” they wrote on their family blog at the time.
