Kylie Jenner is sounding off after the reality TV star was accused of  wearing blackface makeup in  photos she posted on Instagram over the weekend.

Jenner ignited a fuss among her social media followers when she uploaded a few images on Instagram from a recent photo shoot she did. Many people felt the images looked to show Jenner in blackface, with numerous users blasting her for the pictures.

On Sunday, Jenner finally decided to give her take on the images. She denied the use of blackface in the shots and gave a detailed description of how the photographer achieved the look.

“The photographer used a black light & neon lights for those photos,” Jenner said in a Twitter post.

Even Zendaya and Karrueche Tran joined the conversation, with Tran speaking out in support of the photos, saying she saw nothing wrong with them.

Zendaya’s response was a little more confusing. She initially praised Jenner for the shots by commenting on one of the pictures on IG. But after facing some backlash from her own fans for lauding the controversial images, Zendaya changed her opinion on the snaps. “At first, I saw more of an avatar look but thank y'all for keepin me on point....we all gotta stay aware of what image we project #lessons,” Zendaya said. Do you think Kylie’s response about the photos was adequate?
