Corey Simms Owes Leah Messer Unpaid Child Support — Does This Help Her Custody Battle Over The Twins?

Leah Messer may be one step closer to winning custody back of her 6-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah! The Teen Mom 2 star received thousands of dollars in back child support because her ex-husband Corey Simms reportedly didn’t disclose his entire income!
“He had to pay $6,000 in back-pay,” a source told RadarOnline. “The court just awarded her the $6,000.”
The father-of-three didn't disclose his entire income, resulting in a lower child support amount. “He pays child support, but the court system found out he makes extra income other places that he doesn’t file,” the insider said. “So it happened really recently that Leah was awarded the back-pay.”
A second source revealed to the website how the unpaid money wasn’t from Corey refusing to disclose his entire income. “She filed for child support modification a year ago, but it was on hold for a year, so when they calculated child support, they set it to that amount for the past year,” the source claimed. “So Corey had to pay the remainder from the amount he had been ordered to pay to the difference they set it.”

Although Leah “is happy about it,” she wanted more. “She doesn’t think it’s enough,” the source said. “They have two kids together. She still gets them all the time, so he still has to pay child support. It’s built into their agreement.”
