And now things have gotten worse, when the singer missed his own son's birthday and left his 34-year-old girlfriend at home to take care of the baby alone — again! The ex One Direction member was spotted jetting out of London today for a performance in Japan, and an exclusive witness dished to OK! that he seemed "glum" and "in a bad mood." Bear Grey Payne turned one on Thursday but dad Liam Payne wasn't there to celebrate.
The singer was spotted jetting out of London for an upcoming performance in Japan and an eyewitness told OK! exclusively that he wasn't in a great mood as he stopped to meet some fans on his way to the flight. "He seemed glum," the insider said. "He didn't talk at all."
"He seemed like he was in a bad mood," they continued. "Which isn't like Liam, who's normally excited to see his fans."

Although he missed his little guy's birthday, he did share a sweet post on his Instagram account in honor of the big day. "Can’t believe my little man is one today, where does the time go?" the singer wrote alongside this cute photo of him and his baby's hand. "Happy birthday son you’re my world."
The singer shares the baby boy with his girlfriend of two years, Cheryl. But it's reported things are rocky between the couple because of Liam's constant traveling for work.
"Cheryl has always understood he would have to work hard and be absent but the reality is that it's not an easy thing to deal with. This relationship is hanging by a thread. Both of them are devastated," an insider recently dished. So leaving her alone on Bear's birthday couldn't be good for the rocky couple.
