Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson seem to be taking the next steps in their relationship! The pair spent Christmas together alongside the "Wrecking Ball" singer's family.
Miley, 27, shared a few holiday snaps on December 25 on her Instagram Story. “Merry Xmas” the Disney Channel alum wrote on a black and white photo of Cody, 22, and Miley's family smiling next to their Christmas tree.
Cody took to his own Instagram Story and posted a pic of a gold skull necklace on Miley's neck. “Museum quality for my queen,” he wrote alongside a skull and a pitchfork emoji. The Australian singer also shared a video of Miley twerking. “Just some wholesome Christmas content,” he captioned the clip.
The news came one day after Miley settled her divorce with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. Miley and the Hunger Games star, 29, split in August 2019 after nine months of marriage. On December 24, Miley posted a photo of her family that included herself, her sisters Noah and Brandi, and brothers Braison and Trace. The holiday photo also included her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus. "Happy Holidays from America’s most dysfunctional family ?," Miley captioned her pic.
Rumors circulated in November 2019 that the couple had broken up. However, Cody's sister Alli denied their split in an interview with Daily Mail Australia. “Yes, they’re together for sure,” she told the publication.
Fans speculated Miley and Cody split when the "Summertime" singer was spotted with Playboy model Jordy Murray in New York City on December 21. That same day, The Last Song actress released a new single called “My Sad Christmas Song,” which alludes to one being alone during the holidays.
The duo also spent Thanksgiving last month with Cody hanging out with Miley's family. “Extremely thankful for everyone at the table. ??? (a very sober thanksgiving staying hydrated ?,” Noah, 19, wrote alongside shoot of Cody and her family sitting at the dining table on Instagram.
Cody and Miley were first linked in September after her high-profile summer fling with Kaitlynn Carter fizzled out. Cody also celebrated Miley's 27th birthday with her on November 23 with an intimate party in Nashville, Tennessee.
