Ariana Grande reportedly tried rushing to Pete Davidson’s side this weekend after he seemingly threatened suicide on social media. But according to reports, the Saturday Night Live star refused to see his ex-fiancée.
Pete shared an alarming message on his social media Saturday that made millions of his fans and friends concerned for his well-being.
“i really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he wrote. “i’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all i’ve tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so.” He added a heart emoji.
Pete deleted the post shortly after, then deactivated his Instagram account. There were rumors he wasn’t going to appear on Saturday Night Live that evening amid all the drama. However, he did make a brief showing by introducing musical guest Miley Cyrus.
Ariana, who split from Pete in October after a whirlwind 4-month engagement, reportedly rushed to be by his side at NBC Studios that night.

Sources connected to the comedian claim he alerted his security to hold Ariana at bay when she arrived at the building.
According to reports, Pete knew Ariana was on her way because she was calling friends to check in on him after seeing his threatening post.
The pop singer told pals she was rushing over to NBC and they gave Pete the head’s up. He blocked Ariana earlier this month on social media before taking down his Instagram profile.
Pete referenced suicide in an earlier note that he posted on December 3rd. Ariana begged fans to stop bullying him after his initial post.
