Teddi Mellencamp and her family are mourning the loss of a beloved friend. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's dog, Khaleesi, died suddenly while she and her family were out of town. The pooch sadly passed away after an accident occurred.
“RIP to our loving, silly and adorable doggy Khaleesi,” Teddi, 38, captioned a photo of her and her family with their dog. “Our hearts are broken as we have had to say goodbye to you way too soon.”
The mother of two continued, "Without going too into it. We were out of town and placed Khaleesi in a place of care where an accident happened. Sometimes things happen out of your control; we our doing our best to grieve as a family while also remembering the good times with our furry baby. We love you and miss you dearly. ??." Edwin shared the same photo on his own Instagram.
The wellness coach's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates showered her with love after her loss in the comments section. “So sorry, so sad ?,” Dorit Kemsley commented. Lisa Rinna said, "Oh nooooo I’m so sorry Teddi! ??.” Denise Richards wrote, "??.”
Real Housewives of Dallas personality Stephanie Hollman commented, 'I am so sorry for your loss ?." Her costar Kameron Westcott sent Teddi love and revealed she also recently lost her pet. She wrote, "Breaks me heart!! We just lost our Lou... I can’t imagine how devastated you guys must be but hope you will stay strong!!"
Teddi loves to share family photos with her husband, Edwin Arroyave, and their kids, Slate, 6, Cruz, 5, and Edwin's 10-year-old daughter Isabella with their late dog. Last month, the reality star shared her family's holiday card that included Khaleesi.
Teddi is currently pregnant with her third child and is due in March 2020. The card showcased her growing baby bump, their dog and her children. "Happy Holidays from Teddi, Edwin, Bella, Slate, Cruz, Khaleesi and Baby Arroyave due 2020," the card read underneath the smiling family photo.
Teddi's loss comes just a few weeks after she returned from her cast trip in Italy. Dorit, 43, Lisa, 56, as well costars Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards jetted off to Europe for some fun.
