Luann de Lesseps confirmed her castmate Tinsley Mortimer is done with filming The Real Housewives of New York City! Rumors circulated that Tinsley was going to quit the Bravo series after she got engaged to Scott Kluth and moved to Chicago to be with him.
Luann, 54, took a few moments after her cabaret show on December 7 to do a Q&A session with the audience. One fan asked how Tinsley’s mom Dale Mercer reacted to the news of her engagement and Luann said she was “probably jumping for joy.”
“I think she’s more upset that Tinsley’s not filming anymore now that she’s marrying Scott,” the cabaret singer added.
She continued, “I wish her all the best. She seems very happy and I want her to be happy and get married. That’s what she wants to do. She’s very traditional. She wants to have a baby. It’s time.”
Luann did slip in some shade regarding Tinsley, 44, and Scott’s on-and-off relationship. “I just hope there’s not an alcohol-fueled fight and the whole thing doesn’t implode,” she told the crowd.

A few weeks before Tinsley and Scott got engaged a source told Us Weekly, “Tinsley is moving for love. This is a very happy time in her life right now and everyone is rooting for her and Scott. They have addressed all their issues and no longer want to live without each other. She is very, very happy.”
Scott lives in Chicago, which is where he proposed to Tinsley. The founder and CEO of Coupon Cabin popped the question on November 25 outside of the Chicago Water Tower. Prior to their engagement, the couple was on-and-off for months before rekindling their romance in October after a trip to Toronto.
Tinsley fueled rumors that she quit RHONY after she bailed on the cast trip to Mexico in early November. Her castmates Luann, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley and newcomer Leah McSweeney went on the vacation. She did, however, attend BravoCon in mid-November.
The NYC socialite joined RHONY on season nine in 2017. Tinsley is the second person to depart from the show this year. In August, Bethenny Frankel announced that she wouldn’t be returning.
