From weight gain issues to alleged drug use, Rob Kardashian’s family knew the reality star was in trouble. But it wasn’t until he likened his sister Kim Kardashian to the psycho murderer from Gone Girl that they knew he couldn’t continue to refuse their help any longer.
“The family is terrified of Rob right now, he’s totally on the edge,” a source exclusively told OKMagazine.com.
“It’s been bad for months,” the insider continued. “But the fact he went nuts on Kim in public, as well as unfollowing the rest of the family, proves how much resentment he still has and how badly he needs help.”
The Kardashian/Jenner brood was given another reminder of how much the troubled reality star is in need of aid when he went missing last weekend. “Rob had been at Khloe Kardashian‘s house Friday morning, and left without telling anyone where he was going,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Khloe was out of town but her assistant was at the house. After learning Rob had left, Khloe began calling and texting her brother to check-in. After not hearing from Rob for over 24 hours, she called her mom, Kris. Kris began calling Rob’s friends, and dispatched staffers to go by Rob’s condo.”

After Rob was nowhere to be found, Khloe wanted to call the police. “Kris Jenner didn’t think that was necessary,” the source said. “She thought Rob would get very angry that the cops were called, and it would have created a media circus.”

When Rob finally returned to Khloe’s house on Monday, he refused to tell the family where he was.
On this week’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Rob refused to accept his family’s attempt at an intervention. But the insider revealed that the family wants to continue to have interventions because they do not want the youngest Kardashian sibling to do “terrible harm to himself.”
