Shannon Beador's new boyfriend made his first appearance on the Real Housewives of Orange County on the December 10 episode. And it was quite the introduction!
During the show, while the RHOC ladies had a night out on the town, Shannon 55, rolled up with her boyfriend Ken, who she calls "babe." Ken and Shannon met a few months prior to the episode airing. He doesn't live in town, but they kept in touch. However, soon after the episode aired, Shannon moved on to her new man, John Janssen.
The mother of three and the businessman started dating earlier this year. This is her first major relationship since divorcing her ex-husband, David Beador. According to RadarOnline.com, John and Shannon's relationship go as far back as July.
“They met through a mutual friend and he’s met her kids and several of her costars. Everyone is really happy for her because she has finally found herself a guy that she deserves. He’s really romantic and she just thinks that he is the perfect guy," a source told the outlet at the time. The duo both attended University of Southern California way back when. However, because the two were about a year and a half apart in age, they didn't meet at college.

In November, Shannon admitted that John has only seen one episode of her show and has yet to watch more. "He's watched the first episode with me. So there's nothing that I'm embarrassed about," she told Bravo's The Daily Dish. "But it's gonna be maybe a little awkward," she confessed, when talking about him seeing the show.
"I have met someone when I was least expecting it. I just felt an instant bond with him, and I am so comfortable with him. And he is one of the kindest people that I've ever met. He is so thoughtful. We share the same faith. He's a great dad. He has really strong family values," she gushed. "There's just so many things that you would hope that one person would have, and he's got them. So I'm very blessed to have met him!"
Shannon filed for divorce from David in 2017 and they were granted joint legal and physical custody of their three daughters — Stella, Adeline and Sophie Beador.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
