Fleeing The Country! T.I.’s Teen Daughter Deyjah Parties In Mexico After Dad’s Hymen Scandal
After being caught in the middle of T.I.’s controversial comments, his daughter Deyjah has fled the country — at least for a little while! In a video uploaded to Instagram on Friday, November 8, the 18-year-old was seen having a good time in Mexico.
In the short video clip, Deyjah wore a skintight pink bodycon dress as she danced alongside her stepsister Zonnique and friend Reginae Carter.
After the Atlanta native, 39, admitted that he accompanies his daughter to the gynecologist to ensure that her hymen is still intact, Deyjah liked comments on Twitter that suggested her father’s behavior is inappropriate. “That is just beyond possessive,” a tweet reads that Deyjah liked. “This is disgusting, possessive and controlling *whew*,” another fan wrote, which Deyjah saved to her favorites.
“I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact,” T.I. said. “Deyjah’s, 18, just graduated high school now and she’s attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself,” the rapper continued. “And yes, not only have we had the conversation about sex, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen.”

“So it’s this one time we go, I think this might have been after 16th birthday. This is what we do. Right after the birthday we celebrate,” T.I. explained. “Usually like the day after the party, she’s enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: Gyno. Tomorrow. 9:30.”
Following his explosive comments, many have shared their opinions regarding the situation at hand. During the November 7 episode of The Real, cohost Jeannie Mai stated that she agrees with T.I.’s parenting measures. “I support what T.I. is doing because I understand how hard it must be to communicate with an opposite gendered daughter, especially in this time,” Jeannie, 40, admitted. “Especially what he must have seen and known, you know? Of what boys are like. And for me, I was a very wild girl, I didn't like rules, I rebelled a lot.”
However, after receiving backlash, Jeannie issued an apology of her own. “I watched over the clip and I realize I should have been more clear about my ‘support’ of T.I.,” she wrote. “I DO NOT agree with the extremity of invading a woman’s personal body ever. I’m also not in T.I.’s family to speak on how he raises his kids. What I truly meant is that I EMPATHIZE with what fathers go through to ensure their daughters are safe in today’s world.”
