Congratulations, Wilder Valderrama! On January 1, the That ‘70s Show actor proposed to his girlfriend Amanda Pacheco at La Jolla in San Diego. Wilmer, 39, and Amanda, 28, began dating in 2019.

Wilmer shared a picture of him on one knee as he proposed to Amanda on the water. “'It’s just us now' 01-01-2020,” he captioned the beautiful shot. Amanda shared the same picture, along with a close-up look of her teardrop-shaped diamond ring.
The couple spent New Year’s Eve in Mexico, and then headed to San Diego, as the southern California city is important to Amanda. "It's where my mom and dad fell in love and it's the city I was born in, but more specifically it leads to the exact place my mom and I shared a truly amazing day together," she previously wrote on Instagram in 2017 about her late mother, Tracy.
The lovebirds were first spotted in April 2019, as they were shopping in Los Angeles. The next month, Us Weekly revealed that the two were “casually dating.” Wilmer and Amanda were spotted running in Miami in July 2019 as well, when they publicly confirmed they were dating after weeks of speculation.
The NCIS actor was previously romantically linked to Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, and Demi Lovato, who has been supportive of his relationships after their split in 2016. “Demi knows about Amanda and is being equally as supportive as Wilmer has been of her recent relationships,” a source for Us Weekly explained at the time.
The insider added, “Wilmer is still wrapped up in Demi and that’s why they’ve always been so off and on and have continued their friendship as well as Wilmer’s relationship with Demi’s family.” The two remained close friends after their breakup, and he even visited the “Confident” singer in the hospital multiple times after her 2018 overdose.
The Larry Crowne actor gushed about his romance with the model to Entertainment Tonight in November 2019. "I gotta say that I am very happy in my life. In this very moment I feel like, it's so interesting, you work so far for so long and you feel like all of a sudden you're starting over again," he confessed. “And in my career, specifically in my personal life, I am very happy where I am at. I think that I have grown up to be the man that I am meant to be. I am the most grounded that I've ever been. I'm the most excited and the most energetic about what's ahead of me. I'm ready for the next chapter."
