In the first episode of Bringing Up Bates, we got an overview of the entire family and got to quickly meet each of the kids and their parents. But episode 2, airing tomorrow on UP, focuses on the three married Bates kids—Zach, Erin and Alyssa—and what life is like once they leave the huge, loud Bates family home and start their own households.
In this first clip, Gil and Kelly talk about how they can't enforce their house rules on their kids once they move out, but how they can only hope that they'd want the same upbringing for their own families. Though they can't stop them if they let their kids watch cartoons...
Next, Erin, the third oldest Bates kid, talks about what it's like to return home every once and a while to hang out with her younger siblings and how much she misses her big family:
And even though we already got to meet Erin and Chad in THIS exclusive video, here the newlyweds explain how their relationship progressed from courting to engagement to marriage. And just like Jill and Jessa Duggar, Erin and Chad saved their first kiss for their wedding day!
Laslty, watch here as Alyssa and John, who are expecting their first child, discuss what it's like to live in Florida, far away from the family home in Tennessee, and how exciting it was for them to get rid of the chaperones once they got hitched. We bet!
Tune into the second episode of Bringing Up Bates Thursday at 9pm on UP, and stay tuned to OKMagazine.com for the full episode recap!
