Alec Baldwin made headlines yesterday for being kicked off an American Airlines flight and subsequently launching a Twitter war against the airline. The airline isn't staying silent and revealed why it removed Alec.
It all started with a Tweet by Alec saying, "Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt."
Alec was eventually put on a later flight.
"Now on the 3 o'clock American flight," he wrote. "The flight attendants already look…..smarter."
But he made a point of saying that he wouldn't fly with them again.
"Last flight w American," he wrote. "Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950's find jobs as flight attendants."
American Airlines Tweeted to Alec it was "looking into" the incident, and it seems that after doing some digging, the airline realized it wasn't at fault!
In a Facebook post, American Airlines wrote, "The passenger was extremely rude to the crew, calling them inappropriate names and using offensive language. Given the facts above, the passenger was removed from the flight and denied boarding."
Alec's Twitter account has since been deactivated, but he did tell fans before his exit that he planned to start a new one.
Who do you think was in the wrong in this airplane incident?
