Glee Will 'Deal Directly With Drug Addiction' In Cory Monteith Tribute Episode

Yet more details have been revealed regarding Glee‘s Cory Monteith tribute episode.

As previously reported, Glee creator, Ryan Murphy announced they will be dedicating the October 10th episode of the upcoming season to Monteith, 32, who was discovered dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13th—an autopsy revealed he had died from an overdose of heroin and alcohol.

“[October 10] is the episode where [Cory’s character Finn] will be written off and will deal directly with drug addiction and with the circumstances surrounding Cory’s death,” Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly told reporters Wednesday.

The cast has filmed a number of PSAs, which will air throughout the episode, where they will address the issue of drug addiction.
