Kim Kardashian isn't shy about her dreams of conquering all aspects of the entertainment industry and recently shared her desire to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame alongside the biggest names in the business.
"She has not been nominated. She is a reality star. We don't do reality stars. She needs to get a real acting job then come to us," the rep said.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians starlet has a role in Tyler Perry's upcoming movie The Marriage Counselor and has guest-starred on a few episodes of Drop Dead Diva.
Kim had told V magazine that having her name immortalized was one of her goals.
"I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," Kim said.
"So, of course, I'm so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold."
The Chamber of Commerce's website states that "anyone, including a fan, can nominate a celebrity as long as the celebrity or his/her management is in agreement with the nomination."
The celebrity then has to pay $30,000 for the creation, installation and maintenance of the star if they are selected.
So far this year the likes of Viola Davis, Helen Mirren, Ellen DeGeneres and Matthew Perry have been accepted to receive the coveted star.
