After last week’s Dance Moms finale, which included a brawl between Christi and Leslie, the ladies of the ALDC reunited to hash out their differences.
Here’s what we learned:
Cops were called after Christi and Leslie’s fight in New Orleans!
Christi sincerely apologized for knocking a glass out of Leslie’s hand but Leslie didn’t want to hear it and took no ownership of the part she played in the incident. In exclusive bonus footage, Christi clearly overreacts by calling the police but says she came to her senses and refused to press charges against Leslie or take out a restraining order. Abby says Leslie was apologetic after the fight, but Leslie never showed any remorse at the reunion.
Abby can dish it but she can’t take it!
If confronted, Abby will take her ball and go home. She couldn’t take Kelly’s criticism so she walked off the set. Abby later agreed to return but only if Kelly left.
Abby wants Brooke to be more than a one-hit wonder.
Abby explains she wants Brooke’s career to have longevity. She proved she’s looking at the big picture saying, “Don’t let this be it. Let this be just the beginning.” If only her message could always be this clear.
Kelly and Abby had a 30 minute standoff.
When Kelly showed up at a dance competition her children weren’t in, Abby refused to let her sit in the same row of the theater. Kelly wouldn’t take no for an answer though and stood on the aisle for half an hour. At the reunion, both women continued to disagree about which one broke etiquette.
Holly should be a motivational speaker.
Doesn’t Holly just make you want to be a better person? Her words of wisdom throughout the season keep things classy and make you feel better about watching Reality TV. Her sage advice from the reunion: “Just be up front and honest and be a person of your word.”
Abby’s “big announcement” is… not that exciting!
The moderator of the reunion (and producer of the show) kept teasing a big announcement. What could it be, was Abby retiring? Moving her business to L.A.? Finding inner peace? No. She is going to hold auditions nationwide for new members of the Abby Lee Dance Company. Now when the team goes to competitions, Abby will be hosting an open call in select cities. What does that mean for the current ALDC members? Only time will tell!
