Tarek El Moussa is living his best life, and he wants the world to know!

On Sunday, September 20, the Flipping 101 host gushed about his "dream" life with fiancé Heather Rae Young in an Instagram post, just two days after his ex-wife, Christina Anstead, announced she and her husband, Ant Anstead, decided to call it quits after less than two years.

The 39-year-old left a lengthy rant on an Instagram post of himself and the Selling Sunset star reclining on a sofa together, all smiles. "I think we found the perfect couch for the new house today!! Okay...it may not seem exciting but to me it really is!" he captioned the snap. "We also found a ton of other stuff and I can’t wait to show you! I don’t know...I’m just so excited about life!! I’m in love, I’m engaged, flipping 101 is on the air and Flip or Flop is on the way."

The happily in love couple got engaged in July — after dating for one year — and revealed last week on El Moussa's Instagram Story that the duo purchased their first home together in Newport Beach, California. "I’m telling you...it’s possible to accomplish those things you have been dreaming of!" he continued, adding that he has "dreamed of this life and I got it by believing I could do it and working my tail off!! If there is something you want just go for it! I’m yelling at you to chase your dreams!"

The motivational post ended with the father of two encouraging his 894K followers to "just go for it" and take "one step at a time," adding: "Now... what have you been dreaming of? Tell me! Tell the world and go do it!"

El Moussa originally bought their soon-to-be renovated house "as a flip but then they decided to make it their new home," a rep for the couple told PEOPLE as the reality star duo plans to combine their talents and give their new family home an L.A.-HGTV makeover. "It’s their first project together!" the rep said, adding, "They have a lot they want to do with it and the house needs some work." In the meantime, the love birds will continue to live in their current home until the renovations are done.

In the couple's new home announcement video, the 33-year-old former Playboy model explained, “This is basically the blank slate.” Viewers got a sneak peek of the open-floor plan, all-white kitchen, hardwood floors and rooftop, which is why they "fell in love with this house,” El Moussa explained, adding: "The ocean is right there,” referring to the jaw-dropping views overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

While El Moussa is living his "dream" life, his ex-wife — who welcomed her first child, Hudson London Anstead, with Ant last year and shares daughter Taylor Reese, 9, and son Brayden James, 5, with her former Flip or Flop co-star — announced that she and the 41-year-old "made the difficult decision to separate," after less than two years of marriage.
