Yes, we are talking about hanging out with the cast of Jersey Shore — from your home. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation returns for season 4 and was all filmed in a quarantine bubble. But there was one person missing — Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who said she wanted to focus on her family and not be a part of the MTV show anymore.
OK! chatted with the cast about what we can expect throughout the upcoming season. Scroll through the gallery below to learn all about the secrets and drama-filled moments.
WHO’S MISSING?
In December 2019, Snooki announced that she was quitting the MTV series following the backlash she, Deena Nicole Cortese and Jenni "JWoww" Farley received for their controversial speech at Angelina Pivarnick's wedding. The mom of three also confessed she wanted to spend more time at home.
LIVING IN A BUBBLE
The fourth season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation filmed throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, so the roomies were forced to go into lockdown as a group — which isn't anything new to them. "When we first started Jersey Shore, we were all thrown into a house together to film," Farley exclusively tells OK!. "It felt nostalgic in that sense."
BACK TO NEVADA
The squad returned to their old stomping grounds near Sin City, courtesy of Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio. "I rented the whole hotel," he explains. (The cast called the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort home while filming.) "It was such a different vibe, like our own personal family vacation, with just all of us. "

Pauly D’s new girlfriend, Nikki Hall — whom he met on MTV’s dating series A Double Shot at Love — and Angelina’s grandmother make appearances this season. But it was Vinny Guadagnino’s beloved Uncle Nino, who left the biggest impression with his zany antics. According to Farley, “He’s always the star of the show.”
SAFETY FIRST
Amid the health crisis, the cast followed protocol and left impressed by how production handled filming despite restrictions. "We were happy that they went to the level that they went to in an effort to make sure we were all safe," Farley says. DelVecchio agrees: "We made it happen in the middle of a pandemic, and did it safely."
NEW ADDITION
To make their digs feel like home, significant others also joined in on the chaos. Luckily, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's wife, Lauren, was already an unofficial roomie. "The fans really get to see more of her this year," he teases. Lauren's biggest supporter? Deena, who tells OK!, "We had an amazing time together."
KEEPING IT REAL
No elephants in the room! Mike reveals that viewers will "get to see how everyone deals with the fallout of Angelina's wedding and Snooki being absent." Still, despite the drama, the "Here's The Sitch" podcast host promises "good fun, a real family dynamic ... and ultimately, how we get through it all together as a family."
