Whitney Houston passed away two years ago today, in a shocking accidental drowning the night before the Grammys. It is still heartbreaking to know her beautiful voice will never be heard again. On the anniversary of her death, it's comforting at least to watch some of her amazing performances.

Whitney Houston's soundtrack for her movie The Bodyguard is the best-selling soundtrack of all time, selling over 45 million copies to date. Every song on the album is amazing—"I Will Always Love You," hello—and it spawned six popular singles, including "I Have Nothing." Watch this breathtaking performance of the song here. Whitney looked completely regal performing in South Africa, and it's still amazing to see how she could push her voice. Chills!
