Alice Wetterlund Insists She 'Tried To Warn' About Costar Thomas Middleditch Following Sexual Misconduct Allegations Made Against Him
One person who certainly did not seem to be surprised about the sexual misconduct allegations against Thomas Middleditch is his former costar, Alice Wetterlund.
"Tried to warn you all about Middleditch but noooooo not everyone’s favorite tinyman who looks like he lives in a clock!" the Silicon Valley actress tweeted on Sunday, March 21.
In fact, Wetterlund has been tweeting about her costar since 2019. "The shocker here for me was that he HAS female fans?!?" the 39-year-old said in a retweet, which featured a Daily Beast article that cited a Playboy interview in which Middleditch said that "swinging" saved his marriage with Mollie Gates. Gates filed for divorce last year.
"Only after I got married was I like, 'Mollie, I’m sorry, but we have to get nontraditional here,'" he told Playboy. "Personally, [fame] is one of the trickier elements of it all, because Mollie doesn’t get that and yet she has to witness it. I'm like, 'Come on, what about this chick who's obviously really into me?' And Mollie will say, 'Yeah, she’s into you. Where do I fit in?'"
Most recently, the Los Angeles Times released an exposé over the weekend which detailed alleged sexual misconduct at the since-closed members-only goth club Cloak & Dagger in Los Angeles, Calif. Ten women, four of whom were employees, claimed that the co-founders, Adam Bravin and Michael Patterson, ignored sexual harassment allegations against several members, including Middleditch.

Hannah Harding told The Times that Middleditch made "lewd sexual overtures" to her and a friend in the club in 2019. Harding was 21 at the time and claimed that he groped her on the dance floor in front of staff and that she was "dismissed" when she complained to club management. She alleged that she then saw him grope other women after her.
"Hannah I had no idea my actions were that weird for you ... I know you probably want to just put me on blast as a monster ... I don't expect you to want to be my friend or anything ... I am so ashamed I made you uncomfortable," Middleditch allegedly said in a message to Harding.
"As far as I am aware, they reported every incident to us, and to my knowledge, we dealt with every single issue brought to our attention," Patterson told The Times. "Our goal from day one was to create the safest space possible," Bravin said.
Middleditch has not yet commented on the allegations.
