New Romance Brewing? Ana De Armas 'Can't Wait' To Reunite With 'Gray Man' Costar Chris Evans Following Ben Affleck Breakup, Source Spills

Lights, camera, romance! Ana de Armas split from Ben Affleck just last month, but OK! has learned that she may not be single for long — especially now that she's teaming up again with her Knives Out castmate Chris Evans. 

De Armas, 32, who's set to star alongside the Avengers: Endgame hunk, 39, in the upcoming thriller The Gray Man, "has always had a soft spot for Chris, and she can't wait to reunite with him," an insider exclusively tells OK!. "She's been calling him a lot, and it's gotten very friendly and flirty."

Of course, that's exactly how things started with Affleck, 48, de Armas' leading man in her last flick, Deep Water, the insider points out. "Ana's friends think she's set her cap on Chris, who seems flattered by all the attention," continues the insider. "No one would be surprised if they became an item once shooting starts. Ana remembers Chris as a real gentleman. It doesn't hurt that he's so handsome, too."

The news of the brunette beauty's possible new crush comes after she recently pulled the plug on her almost one-year romance with Affleck. While Affleck saw a future with de Armas, a source previously told OK! that the former flames had been quietly having problems "for a while." 

"They started bickering a lot and getting on each other's nerves," the insider dished. "Ben wanted to be with her 24/7, [and it made] Ana claustrophobic. She felt like the fun was gone and needed some space."

Since de Armas realized life without Affleck "suited her better," according to the source, the actress "told him plainly that she wanted out." And while de Armas already seems ready to move on, the OK! insider shared that Affleck has "been pretty lost without her and is taking the split hard." 

Luckily, Affleck has found comfort in the arms of ex-wife Jennifer Garner. While insiders stressed that there is nothing romantic going on between Affleck and Garner — who share children Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 8 — it has been said that she does feel responsible for him.

"Jen doesn't want to get back with Ben, but she does love him. He doesn’t have many friends and she feels like it is her role to help," another insider told OK!. "Jen liked Ana and hoped Ben had finally found someone who could deal with him. He isn't easy. Jen supports his sobriety and will do anything to help Ben stay on track."
